Oricon conducted a survey on 1,000 people from their teens to 50s where the respondents chose the actress who they felt had made a breakthrough this year. Yoshioka Riho swept through all the age groups as they chose her as their No.1 thus earning her the title easily. In last year's ranking, Yoshioka was No.8:
