Mukai Osamu & Kuninaka Ryoko get married on 28 Dec

Mukai Osamu and Kuninaka Ryoko registered their marriage on 28 December as announced by their agencies on 30 Dec. In Mukai's handwritten statement, he expressed his wish to become a better actor after finding his life partner and hopes that everyone will continue supporting him. As for Kuninaka, she wrote in her statement that she will continue working as an actress and expressed her gratitude towards everyone for their support for far. There are no plans for a press conference nor wedding. Mukai and Kuninaka met on the set of "Hungry!" in 2012 which led to them dating soon after the drama wrapped up.

Mukai Osamu celebrated 30th birthday on Hungry's set

Mukai Osamu who turns 30 on 7 Feb, was given a surprise birthday celebration on 1 Feb on the set of his drama "Hungry!". 1 Feb was the 30th birthday of his character Eisuke so the cast and staff decided to hold the celebration on this day. Besides fellow cast members such as Takimoto Miori, Kuninaka Ryoko, Kawabata Kaname, Tsukamoto Takashi and Katagiri Hairi who were present, THE BAWDIES, the band which sings the drama's theme song, also performed live during the celebration. Mukai admitted that he thought that there would be a celebration on the 7th so he wasn't expecting it to be held much earlier to coincide with Eisuke's birthday.
