Kashii Yui pregnant with her second child; gives up her role in "Kurokochi" to Ashina Sei

Odagiri Jo and his wife Kashii Yui are expecting their second child as reported on 30 October. The couple who got married in February 2008, had their first son in early 2011. Kashii is currently five months' pregnant and has been suffering from serious morning sickness since the middle of this month. Although she was involved in the filming of TBS autumn drama "Kurokochi" since 27 September, she was absent from the drama's press conference on 3 October due to the morning sickness which had lasted much longer than expected. In view of her condition, Kashii had no choice but to give up her role in the drama even though she has finished filming for her scenes up to the 3rd episode. Kashii's role in the drama will now be played by Ashina Sei.

Production press conference of TBS autumn 2013 drama "Kurokochi"

The production press conference of TBS autumn 2013 drama "Kurokochi" was held on 3 October at Aoyama Studio in Yokohama which was attended by the cast members Nagase Tomoya, Gouriki Ayame, Watabe Atsuro, Azuma Mikihisa and Kaneko Ken. The drama which begins its run from 11 October, features Nagase as a police detective named Kurokochi Keita who belongs to the 2nd investigation department of Kanagawa Prefectural Police and tries to find the criminal behind the 300 million robbery in 1975 which had since passed its statute of limitations. In order to solve the case, Kurokochi would stop at nothing and even extorts money from politicians by threatening them with their secrets.

Nagase Tomoya & Gouriki Ayame to co-star in autumn 2013 drama "Kurokochi"

TOKIO's Nagase Tomoya and Gouriki Ayame will be working together for the first time in the TBS autumn 2013 drama "Kurokochi" which will begin its run from October in the Fridays 10pm timeslot. The drama which is based on the same-titled manga by Richard Wu and will consist of 10 episodes, features Nagase as Kurokochi Keita, an assistant inspector in the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Criminal Department 2nd section who believes that the true criminal behind the JPY 300m robbery case in December 1968 which had passed its statute of limitations in 1975 is still out there and attempts to find whoever this is. He does not care about resorting to controversial ways to solve his cases including blackmailing politicians and demanding huge amounts of money. With the intelligence he gets, Kurokochi is able to solve many cold cases. On the other hand, Gouriki plays the role of Seike Mashiro, his colleague who's serious about her work and has a sterling record as compared to Kurokochi.

Filming will begin in September.
