Production press conference of "Kuro no Onna Kyoushi"

The production press conference of TBS summer drama "Kuro no Onna Kyoushi" was held on 16 July where lead cast members Eikura Nana, Ichikawa Mikako and Kobayashi Satomi made appearances. The drama which features Eikura as a senior high school teacher who resorts to drastic measures at night to solve problems in school for high remuneration, will begin its run on 20 April at 10pm on Fridays. This press conference also marked the first public appearance of Kobayashi who had been involved in a major traffic accident on 6 July while on the way to filming.

Kobayashi Satomi involved in major car accident but escaped unhurt

Actress Kobayashi Satomi was involved in a major accident on the Metropolitan Expressway on 6 July at 6.30am. According to the police, Kobayashi was in a car driven by her female manager and they were headed to the set of TBS summer drama "Kuro no Onna Kyoushi". The car that they were in was travelling alongside another tank lorry which changed lanes but Kobayashi's manager couldn't avoid the lorry in time and bumped into its rear. As a result of the impact, the car was pushed into the lane on the right and in the path of another 10-tonne truck which rammed into the vehicle. Fortunately, all parties were unhurt during the accident. Kobayashi declined to go to the hospital as she had to rush to the filming site. When asked about her condition, Kobayashi's agency confirmed that she did not suffer any injuries.
