Thanksgiving event of movie "Haha to Kuraseba"

The thanksgiving event of movie "Haha to Kuraseba" was held at Shinjuku Picadilly on 21 December which was attended by the leads Yoshinaga Sayuri and Ninomiya Kazunari as well as the director Yamada Koji. The movie accumulated total audience visits of 600,000 up to 21st December and total box office receipts have broken the 700 million yen mark. The movie has also achieved the No.1 spot on the Pia satisfaction ranking. During the event, rugby player Goromaru Ayumu who was also from Waseda University like Yoshinaga, sent a congratulatory video message for his senior.

Completion screening event of new movie "Haha to kuraseba"

The completion screening event of new movie "Haha to kuraseba" was held at Marunouchi Picadilly 1 on 22 November which was attended by the director Yamada Yoji and cast members including Yoshinaga Sayuri, Ninomiya Kazunari, Kuroki Haru, Asano Tadanobu, Kato Kenichi and Hondo Miyu. The fantasy movie which will be shown in cinemas from 12 December to mark Shochiku's 120th anniversary, is set in the post-war era at Nagasaki where a mother (Yoshinaga) finds her dead son's spirit (Ninomiya) appearing in front of her despite having died 3 years ago due to the nuclear bombing.

During the event, Yoshinaga praised Ninomiya for being a great actor who could do whatever the director wanted and said that he seemed like a fairy to her. In response, Ninomiya jokingly commented that he will become known as Fairy Kazunari from now on which led the audience to laugh.
