Premiere screening event of new movie "Chia Dan Joshikousei ga chiadansu de zenbei seihashichatta honto no hanashi"

The premiere screening event of new movie "Chia Dan Joshikousei ga chiadansu de zenbei seihashichatta honto no hanashi" was held at Fukuishogyo High School on 4 February which was attended by the school's 830 students and past and current members of the school's cheerleading team. The director Kawai Hayato, Hirose Suzu, Nakajo Ayami and Amami Yuki also made a surprise appearance at the event.

The movie describes the true story of how the school's cheerleading team JETS won the title at the NDA National Championship in 2009. Amami plays the team's advisor Saotome Kaoruko who is modeled after the real advisor Igarashi Yuko while Hirose and Nakajo play members of the cheerleading team.

During the event, the cast were presented with a celebratory performance by the current cheerleading team members who will be heading to the US in March to attempt to win the championship for the 5th consecutive time. In response, the cast offered their well-wishes to the team and hoped that they will do well in the competition.

Hirose commented that although she has participated in various works to date, this is probably the most enjoyable so far. In particular, she was impressed by the beauty of working hard to overcome difficulties to achieve your dream so this movie was especially memorable to her.

The movie will be shown in cinemas from 11 March.

Hirose Suzu & Narita Ryo reportedly dating?

Hirose Suzu and Narita Ryo are said to be dating, as reported on 31 December. The two of them first got to know each other after working in the NTV Winter 2015 drama "Gakkou no Kaidan" and are said to have started dating since last autumn. It was also reported that they had been sighted together at a convenience store in Tokyo.

Coincidentally, Narita had worked with Hirose's elder sister Arisu in the movie "L" shown last year and the latter had picked him as the No.1 guy she would choose among her co-stars.

Hirose's new movie "Chia*Dan" will be released in March this year and has another movie "Sensei!" due to be shown in autumn. As for Narita, he is due to appear in the upcoming FujiTV Winter 2017 drama "Daibinbou" which begins its run from 8 January and his latest movie "Kiseki - Ano hi no sobito -" will be shown in cinemas from 28 January.

Amami Yuki & Hirosue Suzu to star in new movie "Chia Dan ~ Joshikousei ga chiadansu de zenbei seihashichatta honto no hanashi"

Amami Yuki and Hirosue Suzu will be working together in the upcoming movie "Chia Dan ~ Joshikousei ga chiadansu de zenbei seihashichatta honto no hanashi" (Cheerleading Dance ~ The true story of how a senior high school girl conquers the whole of America with cheerleading dance) which will be shown in cinemas next March. The movie is based on the true story of how Fukui Commerical High School's cheerleading dance team "JETS" won the NDA National Championship in March 2009 in just three years since it was set up.

Hirose plays a first-year senior high school student Hikari who belongs to the cheerleading team which is subjected to the tough training and rules imposed by their advisor Saotome Kaoruko (Amami). Amami who had expressed strong interest in playing the character based on JETS' real coach Igarashi Yuko, agreed to the offer immediately and commented that the young actors like Hirose worked very hard to practice the cheerleading dances and she was really pleased to see how much they had improved in just a few months. During the filming in May this year, JETS and Igarashi went to Niigata to meet the cast where Amami observed how Igarashi treated her students strictly but with love so as to prepare for her character.

Co-stars also include Nakajo Ayami, Yamazaki Hirona, Fukuhara Haruka and Minamino Saki. Before filming was done in May and June this year, the actresses playing the cheerleading team members went through a few months of intensive dance training.
