Eita & Ono Machiko win the 39th Housou Bunka Foundation acting awards for their roles in "Saikou no Rikon"

Eita attended the prize presentation ceremony for the 39th Housou Bunka Foundation Award on 21 June where he received an acting award for his performance in "Saikou no Rikon". His co-star Ono Machiko who had played his wife in the same drama, also received the same award but was absent from the ceremony. Eita commented that it had been physically draining for him during the filming and by the time he was halfway through the season, he had even gone to a therapist for treatment of his hands and shoulders which were experiencing tightness due to the pressure.

Completion screening of WOWOW drama "Hitori Shizuka"

The completion screening of WOWOW drama "Hitori Shizuka" starring Kaho was held on 14 October. The 6-episode drama which is scheduled to begin its run on 21 October at 10pm on Sundays, is based on a novel by Honda Tetsuya and features Kaho as a mysterious woman Shizuka who gets embroiled in a number of murder cases from her teenage years to her 30s.

Kaho to star in WOWOW autumn 2012 drama "Hitori Shizuka"

Kaho will be starring in the WOWOW autumn 2012 drama "Hitori Shizuka" to be shown from 21 October at 10pm on Sundays. The drama which consists of 6 episodes is based on a police detective story by popular mystery writer Honda Tetsuya and also marks the first baddie role for Kaho since her acting debut in 2004. Kaho plays the lead character Shizuka who is involved in 5 murders over a span of more than 10 years and the story describes her battle against the police from the time she's a teenager till she becomes a hostess after becoming an adult.
