First-day-screening event of new movie "Poncho ni yoake no kaze haramasete"

The first-day-screening event of new movie "Poncho ni yoake no kaze haramasete" was held at Shinjuku Musashinokan on 28 October which was attended by the director Hirohara Satoru, original novel's author Hayami Kazumasa and cast members Taiga, Nakamura Aoi, Yamoto Yuma and Satsukawa Aimi. The story describes how three senior high school boys Matahachi (Taiga), Jin (Nakamura) and Jumbo (Yamoto) lead meaningless lives and wants to do something to change their situations. They hatch a plan with their friend Nakata (Sometani Shota) to hijack the upcoming graduation ceremony with an impromptu live performance and decide to head out for the last trip of their senior high school days. Things do not progress as they expect but this makes them grow up and they seem to be guided to find their respective paths in life. As Nakata waits for the trio to return before the graduation ceremony, the boys are in for a surprise as to what lies at the end of their journey. Satsukawa Aimi will be playing a gravure idol Ai while Abe Junko plays a sex worker Maria.

When asked about their most memorable scene in the movie, Taiga cited the scene when they had to sleep while buried under the sand on the beach and he was to be woken up by a dog licking his face. However, the dog simply refused to do this even after there was butter applied on his face. As the filming was done in the bitterly cold winter, it was tough having to wait for the dog to come licking his face. To add on to his misery, Yamoto revealed that Taiga was wearing a nurse's costume with nothing covering his legs during that scene. In order to play a prank on Taiga, Yamoto and Nakamura chased after him with fireworks where the sparks got onto his legs. The footage was then included in the movie as part of the NG scenes which led Taiga to comment that the two of them were like devils chasing after him at full speed.

Satsukawa then added on to say that she also played a trick on Taiga on the same day of that filming after she was told about the prank that was played on him. The staff then suggested that Satsukawa play a trick as well so she told him that she had a scene to enter the freezing sea and asked if he could do it on her behalf. Taiga then volunteered to speak to the director about it as he believed her which made everyone burst out into laughter. The host then asked Taiga if he is someone who is constantly tricked which led the latter to confirm that everyone seems to think of him as someone who they can play pranks on. Yamoto then commented jokingly that Taiga is like a good toy for all of them thus making Taiga protest about this remark.
