Hirose Suzu, Ikeda Elaiza, Yamamoto Maika, Noda Mio, Tanabe Momoko & Tomita Miu will be playing the younger version of the main cast in new movie "SUNNY Tsuyoi kimochi tsuyoi ai" starring Shinohara Ryoko, Itaya Yuka, Koike Eiko, Tomosaka Rie and Watanabe Naomi. The movie which is directed by Ohne Hitoshi, will be shown in cinemas from 31 August 2018.

Maki Youko quits from new movie "SUNNY Tsuyoi kimochi tsuyoi ai"; Itaya Yuka to take over her role

It was reported on 9 November that Maki Youko quit from the new movie "SUNNY Tsuyoi kimochi tsuyoi ai" starring Shinohara Ryoko just because she was about to begin filming for the movie. According to the movie company Toho, Maki's agency had submitted the request for her to be removed from the cast lineup in late October citing health reasons even though the rest of the cast had already begun filming. Since she had not begun filming, Toho decided to get a replacement and finally decided on Itaya Yuka to take over Maki's role.

Shinohara Ryoko to star in Japanese remake of Korean hit movie "Sunny Tsuyoi kimochi tsuyoi ai"

Shinohara Ryoko will be starring in the Japanese remake of 2011 Korean hit movie "Sunny" which will be directed by Ohne Hitoshi. The Japanese version titled "Sunny Tsuyoi kimochi tsuyoi ai" (Sunny Strong feelings strong love) will be shuttling between the present era and the 90s thus it will feature the signature elements of the 90s including J-pop and fashion trends then. Co-stars in this movie include Hirose Suzu, Maki Youko, Koike Eiko, Tomosaka Rie and Watanabe Naomi.
