Kanna Chise who won the Grand Prix at the 39th Horipro Talent Scout Caravan in 2014, will be singing the theme song for NTV Autumn 2016 drama "Jimi ni sugoi! Kouetsu Girl Kouno Etsuko" starring Ishihara Satomi which begins its run from 5 October in the Wednesdays 10pm timeslot. This will be Kanna's first drama theme song since her debut in March this year. The theme song titled "Heaven's Door ~ Hi no ataru basho" will be released as a single on 9 November. Her debut single was used as the theme song for the movie "Boku dake ga inai machi" starring Fujiwara Tatsuya.
Since Kanna won the Grand Prix title, she had been going through voice training and held roadside performances over the period of one year before she made her debut. With regard to her being chosen to sing the theme song this year, Kanna expressed her worry and pressure but stressed that she would try her best to make the song a success for the sake of everyone who has supported her so far since this is a hard-to-come-by opportunity for her.
