Shimizu Fumika will be joining the cast of TV Asahi Autumn 2016 drama "Kaseifu no Mitazono" starring TOKIO's Matsuoka Masahiro which will begin its run from 21 October in the Fridays 11.15pm timeslot. She will play the role of his colleague Hanada Emiri. As this is Shimizu's first collaboration with Matsuoka, she commented that she is very curious to find out about how Mitazono and Matsuoka himself is like and declared jokingly that her character is probably the most normal person in the drama. Shimizu revealed that although the title may suggest that the drama is just a comedy, there are elements of mystery, thrill and warmth in the story and is eagerly awaiting to see how the story will develop and end.
Co-stars in the drama also include Yo Kimiko, Shibamoto Yuki, Hotta Akane and Hirata Atsuko who all play housekeepers working in the same agency as Mitazono and they will gather at the agency's office in every episode to gossip about their employers and share the latter's secrets.
