Top 100 songs which have influenced Japan (Music Station Ultra Fes 30th)

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Music Station held the Ultra Fes 30th on 19 September which was broadcast for 10 hours. During the programme, the show also featured a ranking of the top 100 songs which have influenced Japan over the years. Check out the list below to see if your favourites are in the top 100 and click on the links to watch the songs' music videos or live performances or sound clips. Unfortunately, due to the length of this list, I will only provide the video links up to No.40. There are some songs without official videos which could be due to the songs being too far back in time or the artistes do not upload their PVs online for some reason so there will be some songs in the top 40 without the video links.

Frankly speaking, I was surprised by a number of the entries here and some obvious omissions like SPEED's White Love, Utada Hikaru's First Love, Tsunami by Southern All Stars, KinKi Kids' Garasu no Shounen or FLOWER, V6's Change The World, TOKIO's Ambitious Japan, SMAP's Lion Heart or Dreams Come True's Love Love Love. It also looks as if each artist was "restricted" to one song only. I don't know for sure how these results were derived (sales or how much it was talked about?) but this ranking does seem odd in one way or another.
