The film which is based on the same-titled manga by Minami Kanan, features Taira in the role of Oriyama Karin who is an innocent girl from a rich family and in the first year of senior high school. On her 16th birthday, the birthday present given by her parents is a marriage partner Tsurugi Nao (Nakajima), a third-year student in the same school who also happens to be her first love and the most popular guy in school. However, Nao's motive to proceed with the marriage is for the Oriyama family's fortune thus Karin is stuck in a one-sided-love marriage. Just then, Ebina Izuzu (Chinen), a first-year student who is a rich guy and in love with Karin, comes to know about her secret marriage to Nao and presses the latter to divorce Karin. Yamamoto plays the role of Matsui Saya who is Tsurugi's ex-girlfriend and will become Karin's strongest rival in love.
In line with the theme of the movie, the venue was decorated to look like a wedding hall as Nakajima and Chinen walked down the virgin road towards Taira who was wearing a wedding gown. Nakajima commented that the virgin road represents the bride's journey from the time she was born till she gets married so for him to walk down this path was like a reflection of the time it took for the movie to be made and finally ready to be watched by everyone. He said that the movie is very interesting and will make the audience laugh and set their hearts racing as well so he dedicated the film to everyone present and referred to them as "brides".
Chinen also revealed that there are some scenes of Karin and Nao in the movie which will set everyone's hearts fluttering even for men like him and said that he felt jealous that they got to do such wonderful scenes. Taira and Yamamoto both echoed his view and said that everyone will feel very excited after watching this movie.
When the topic of the ideal proposal came up, Taira expressed her view that she hopes to be able to get married one day and that the ideal situation would be that her future husband will propose to her in a Japanese-style room while they are wearing traditional clothes. As for Yamamoto, she didn't want the proposal to go around the bush or kneel down but hoped that her future husband will ask her directly to marry her. As Chinen did a scene in the film where he had to go down on his knees to propose, Nakajima teased him about him and said that Yamamoto's view was rather unconventional and unexpected. As for Chinen, he revealed that he would like to do it naturally while having breakfast while Nakajima said that he would pretend to ask his girlfriend about their date plans the following day and then ask her to stop being lovers with him and instead progress to become his wife. This made the audience squeal in excitement as Nakajima even added a flying kiss to complete the scene.
