TBS Autumn 2016 drama "Nigeru wa haji daga yaku ni tatsu" starring Aragaki Yui and Hoshino Gen will be re-broadcast at one go during the upcoming New Year holidays. The 11 episodes will be shown on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day via TBS. Episodes 1 to 3 will be shown from 8.55am to 11.45am on 31st December while episodes 4 to 8 will be shown from 11.55am to 4.30pm on the same day. Episodes 9 to 11 will be shown on the following day from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Despite the show being a production from one year ago, TBS decided to proceed with the re-broadcast due to overwhelming requests from viewers.
The drama started off with a rating of 10.2% but gradually gained popularity thus leading to a high of 20.8% for its finale. To date, it has won 37 awards such as from the Tokyo Drama Award, Galaxy Award and My Best TV Award Grand Prix.
