First-day-screening event of new movie "Last Recipe Kirin no shita no kioku"

The first-day-screening event of new movie "Last Recipe Kirin no shita no kioku" was held at TOHO Cinemas Ueno on 3 November which was attended by the director Takita Yojiro and cast members Ninomiya Kazunari, Nishijima Hidetoshi, Ayano Go, Miyazaki Aoi, Takenouchi Yutaka and Nishihata Daigo. As the event was held on the eve of the grand opening of the new cinema, the cast and director also took part in the tape-cutting ceremony. The movie was screened 12 times on all 8 screens of the cineplex during the first day so the cast held 8 consecutive greeting sessions for the full-house audiences during each screening. This led Ninomiya to comment that he was thankful to be able to meet so many people to thank them for their support of this movie.

As the release of the movie happened to coincide with the 18th anniversary of Arashi's debut, Ninomiya said that the coincidence made the members surprised and he hoped that they would be happy after watching the movie somewhere in one of the theatres. This made Ayano comment that the group members have such a wonderful bond although Ninomiya joked that actually, the group was formed in September before their official debut in November.

Since the footage from the greeting sessions were also broadcast live to 125 cinemas nationwide, Nishijima took the opportunity to greet the audiences at his hometown in Minami Osawa. Although this was the first time that he did so many greeting sessions at one go, he was glad to be able to meet everyone face-to-face even though they may be located quite far apart from each other. On the other hand, Miyazaki revealed that as they progressed through each session, everyone started to become a bit odd probably due to the fatigue. Takenouchi echoed her view but said that it was a rare experience for all of them to do so many sessions on one day.
