The story is a suspense love story involving four senior high school students Kaga Shunpei (Shigeoka) who is the most popular guy in class, Mizumoto Koushirou (Kamiyama) who is a handsome guy good at his studies and sports, Kohinata Ayumi (Kiyohara Kaya) who is a childhood friend of Kaga and Mizumoto and also Mizumoto's girlfriend and Umine Zenko (Tomita Miu) who is a key person in the story and not very good looking compared to Ayumi. Due to an incident, the souls of Ayumi and Zenko get swapped into each other's bodies thus causing a huge change in the relationship dynamics of the four of them. Ayumi who is in despair over the state of things, gets help from Kaga who is the first to notice the change and tries to find a way to restore their souls to their original bodies.
Shigeoka and Kamiyama had appeared in the Netflix series "Honoo no Tenkousei REBORN" with their fellow Johnny's WEST members so they were surprised to be offered the chance to be leads in another Netflix drama. Shigeoka expressed his joy about acting with Kamiyama in this drama even though he wasn't as popular as Kaga back in senior high school, he felt like he was able to relive his high school days through this drama. As for Kamiyama, he said that his character this time is very cool which is a huge contrast to Shigeoka's character. As such, he hoped to show the gap between their characters in this drama.
Kiyohara said that playing the innocent and naive Ayumi and Zenko who took over Ayumi's body was a huge challenge but she was able to relax with the help of Shigeoka and Kamiyama. In particular, she would like to show the inferior complex that Zenko has towards her looks and her strong jealousy towards the people around her through her acting in this drama. As for Tomita, she revealed that she had observed Kiyoahara's mannerisms and way of speaking in order to show how Ayumi behaves in Zenko's body and remarked that it was a very enjoyable filming process thanks to her co-stars.
