Kake Juunoshin (Gou Ayano) is a highly-skilled ronin in the Edo era who wants to get hired by the Kurokaze Clan and lies that a religious group is trying to destroy them in order to achieve his aim. Although he does get hired, the clan finds out about his lie later and wants to execute him for what he did. As such, Kake will have to find a way out to ensure his survival.
