The filming for ongoing NHK morning drama "Beppin-san" was wrapped up at NHK Osaka on 28 February which coincided with the 20th birthday of the lead actress Yoshine Kyoko. During the wrap-up ceremony, Kanno Miho who played the lead character's mother and was the narrator of the drama, made a surprise appearance which made Yoshine burst into tears. Yoshine commented that she was very happy to spend the last day of her teens and the first day of her 20s acting in "Beppin-san" as a huge amount of confetti was scattered in the studio for the celebration. Besides Kanno, co-stars including Nagayama Kento, Renbutsu Misako, Tanimura Mitsuki, Tsuchimura Kaho, Momota Kanako and Koura Kengo also attended the celebration.
Yoshine said that although the filming lasted for a long 9 months, she was very satisfied with how much she had done during this period i.e. play someone from her teens to 50s within a year. She was especially pleased to see her birthday with her favourite tomatoes on it and hopes to be able to gather everyone again for a meal soon.
