The first-day-screening event of new movie "Kimi to 100 kaime no koi" was held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on 4 February which was attended by the director Tsukikawa Sho and cast members miwa, Sakaguchi Kentaro, Ryusei Ryo, Mano Erina and Izumisawa Yuki. With regard to seeing the movie being finally ready to be screened, miwa commented that they had put in their all to make this film and hopes that everyone can be touched by it. As for Sakaguchi, he revealed that it was difficult for him to imagine being that much in love with his childhood friend as depicted in the movie so he had to practice his lines with his manager but was always "scolded" for getting the feeling wrong.
In line with the movie's title, the cast were asked what they would do 100 times to protect. In response, Sakaguchi said that he won't do it 100 times but will just achieve his aim at one go. Upon hearing this, miwa was baffled by his answer and commented to Ryusei who was beside her that she couldn't understand what Sakaguchi was driving at.
Despite the movie being a romance story, miwa, Sakaguchi, Ryusei and Izumisawa's characters are members of the same band so they went out to sing karaoke during the filming and spent a lot of time together. Sakaguchi commented that as this is the first time he played the guitar so he was unsure whether he should concentrate on his playing or singing during the performances.
