One-day police chief event for cast of FujiTV Autumn 2016 drama "Career ~ Okiteyaburi no Keisatsu Shochou"

Tamaki Hiroshi, Takashima Masahiro and Takimoto Miori attended the one-day police chief event held at Tokyo Wangan Police Station on 27 September to promote their upcoming FujiTV Autumn 2016 drama "Career ~ Okiteyaburi no Keisatsu Shochou". The drama which begins its run from 9 October in the Sundays 9pm timelot, features Tamaki as Toyama Kinshiro, the chief of a police station who behaves like an oddball and would not hesitate to go out and investigate cases if they arouse his interest. Takashima plays the role of Minami Yozo, a veteran police detective who is at loggerheads with Toyama while Takimoto is Aikawa Minori, a female detective who wants to become good enough to be a reliable detective but keeps fumbling in her work.

During the event, Tamaki was presented with an appointment letter which named him as a police station chief for the day. While dressed in the uniform, Takashima praised Tamaki for looking very good in it which was echoed by Takimoto. After the event, the three of them went on a patrol on a boat in the Odaiba area.

When asked about any encounters with the police in the past, Tamaki revealed an embarrassing secret that he had been stopped for routine questioning by the police many times because he often had to maintain unkept appearances such as long hair or not shaving for work reasons which naturally attracted the police officers' attention for looking suspicious. As for Takashima, he said that he had been sent for counselling by the police at the age of 14 because he was with a friend who carried a 4-cm long knife. Takimoto then revealed her funny encounter when she went to withdraw 100,000 yen from the ATM and forgot to take the money with her. A few hours later when she went to make a police report, she was surprised and touched to find that the money had been turned in to the police.
