Nishiuchi Mariya and flumpool's vocalist Yamamura Ryuta will be appearing in the FujiTV Winter 2017 drama "Totsuzen desuga, Ashita kekkon shimasu" (It's sudden but I am getting married tomorrow) which will begin its run from 23 January in the Mondays 9pm timeslot. The drama which is based on the same-titled manga by Miyazono Izumi, features Nishiuchi as the heroine Asuka who is a capable woman working in a major bank. However, underneath her career woman facade, Asuka actually wants to quit her job soon, get married and become a housewife as soon as possible. However, when she is dumped by her boyfriend of 5 years, Asuka is anxious to find a new marriage partner and happens to meet Nanami (Yamamura) who is a handsome TV announcer. Contrary to her plans, Nanami turns out to be extremely resistant to the idea of getting married thus she will have to try her best to change his mind.
Nishiuchi who is appearing in a Getsuku drama for the first time, revealed that she had always set this as a goal she wanted to achieve one day so she is very happy to be able to realise her dream. As for Yamamura, this will be the first time for him to try acting and he had always wanted to expand his career scope so he hopes to meet the challenge despite being very nervous about this.
