Top 20 celebrities with the highest number of TV appearances in 2016 (Oricon)

Oricon released the ranking of top 20 celebrities with the highest number of TV appearances this year which was calculated for the period 1 January to 30 November for programmes shown in Tokyo on NHK, NTV, TV Asahi, TBS, TV Tokyo and FujiTV. Repeat telecasts, TV shopping programmes, narration appearances and announcers are not included in the tabulation of the results.

Since the ranking was first released in 2010, TOKIO's Kokubun Taichi has become the first person to win the No.1 spot three years in a row. Past winners include comedic duo Audrey (2010), Ariyoshi Hiroiki (2011) and Bananaman's Shitara Osamu (2012 and 2013).
