JY will be singing the theme song for the upcoming FujiTV Spring 2017 drama "Hito wa mitame ga 100 percent" starring Kiritani Mirei which begins its run from 13 April in the Thursdays 10pm timeslot. The song titled "Joshi Modoki" is produced by m-flo's Taku Takahashi and talks about how the lead character Jun tries to increase her femininity. JY commented that the lyrics depict a woman's desire to be pretty and cute all the time but she has to grapple with her lack of confidence and gradually loses the drive to put in effort to be fashionable and pay attention to her looks at times. As such, the song is meant to be a cheer-up song for women who feel this way.
The theme song will be included in JY's first album "Many Faces ~ Tamensei ~" which will be released on 10 May.
