An will be starring in her first leading role in a movie when her new work "Oke Roujin" (Orchestra Elderly) is shown in cinemas from 11 November. The movie which is based on the same-titled novel by Araki Gen, features An as Chizuru, a senior high school mathematics teacher who enters a "professional" orchestra with the aim of using her experience in playing the violin. However, she is shocked to see that the Umegaoka Orchestra is actually full of elderly members and it is just an amateur orchestra. Unable to quit because the elderly members are elated at seeing a new member join the orchestra, Chizuru even ends up being tasked to be the conductor. When a rival elite orchestra challenges Umegaoka Orchestra, Chizuru has to lead her orchestra to success so as to ensure its survival.
