"Nurse no Oshigoto" to return as a drama SP for first time in 12 years


FujiTV will be showing a 2-part drama SP of "Nurse no Oshigoto" for the first time in 12 years on 31 Oct and 1 Nov. Original cast members Mizuki Arisa who played the newbie nurse Asakura Izumi and Matsushita Yuki who played her senior Ozaki Shoko will be back to reprise their roles in the SPs. The first part titled "Ritou-hen" will feature Izumi operating the Takasugi clinic on an island called Shikine with her husband Kentaro (Fujiki Naohito) where Shoko happens to go there for a holiday. The second part titled "Saikai-hen" will show Izumi being roped in as a nurse to work at Wakabakai General Hospital where Shoko is the matron.

Nurse's Older Plots of Series.They've been return to making it again since Shomuni 2013.Or it's going on fasionary.

FujiTV is really trying its best to milk every single dollar left out of its profitable and hits from the past with all these sequels and remakes. They can surely do with some fresh ideas and originality rather than try the same-and-tested formula in a bid to avert failures.

Personally, I've never watched Nurse no Oshigoto but the outline of the story doesn't sound interesting to a new would-be viewer like me. Perhaps for people who were fans of that series, they might tune in for old times' sake just to see those actors again. Sad to say, the story doesn't seem to score high on originality though.
