Screening event of TV Tokyo drama SP "Eien no Zero"

The screening event of TV Tokyo drama SP "Eien no Zero" was held on 23 Jan which was attended by the cast members Mukai Osamu, Tabe Mikako, Kiritani Kenta, Hirosue Ryoko, Ito Shiro, Nakao Akiyoshi, Mitsushima Shinnosuke, Kaku Kento, Kanai Yuta, Watanabe Dai and Nakamura Aoi. The drama SP which is based on the same-titled novel by Hyakuta Naoki and had a movie adaptation starring Okada Junichi released in December 2013, will be shown on 11th, 14th and 15th February.

As this was Mukai's first public appearance after he got married to Kuninaka Ryoko on 28 December, the media offered their congratulations to him which he acknowledged but did not comment further on it. With regard to his character's short marriage life due to being enlisted for the war, Mukai said that even though his character did not spend a lot of time with his family, it was something which couldn't be helped as he had to go to war to protect them in another way. Hirosue commented during the event that hopefully through this drama SP, it will make the public see that TV Tokyo has more to offer than just the hit anime "Youkai Watch" and that Mukai is as good as Okada in the lead role.
