Comedian Wakabayashi Masayasu of Audrey and actress Minamisawa Nao have confirmed that they have been dating since September 2017 as reported on 31 December. The two of them who are 12 years apart in age, met while acting in a skit on NTV's "Ichioku sanzenman nin no episode variety korette ari desuka?" in July 2010 where they hit it off really well during the programme even though Wakabayashi is well-known for being very shy in front of strangers and people he don't know well. According to media reports, the two of them have been friends since then and got closer due to their common love for reading and the rakugo artist Kokontei Shinshou which bridged the distance between them very quickly. Both of them have also published books and are active writers. Their agencies had confirmed the news and stated that the two of them are in a serious relationship and had informed their agencies about this before the news came out.
