The story is based on the same-titled novel by Inui Kurumi and describes how 8 men and women including a librarian named Ayumi (Kanjiya), a freelance worker named Keisuke (Hongo) and a cafe owner Tendou (Gori) take up an offer by a mysterious man Kazama to participate in a repeat process to reverse their fates and mistakes in life by turning the clock back to 10 months earlier. However, once the process begins, they find out that things do not go as they expected and are forced into a corner or faced with unexpected danger. Despite such extreme conditions, Ayumi and Keisuke gradually develop feelings for each other despite being attached.
Kanjiya commented that she's excited about the time slip setting and unexpected developments in the story. She described her character as a very ordinary person who appears to be very plain but through this time slip, her life will change in an unexpected manner so she's eager to find out how this will be. As for Hongo, he described his character as a cool but very humane guy so he's very keen to play such a role. Gori said that his character is a strong and clever guy and expressed his joy about acting in a suspense story which he had little experience with so far.
