Supporting cast lineup of TBS Winter 2017 drama "Rental no Koi" announced

The supporting cast lineup of TBS Winter 2017 drama "Rental no Koi" starring Gouriki Ayame was announced. The drama which begins its run from January 2017 in the Wednesdays 12.10am timeslot, features Gouriki in the role of Takasugi Remi who is the No.1 girlfriend for rental dispatched by Rental Lovers, a management company in this business. Remi is said to be a woman who you will fall in love with once you go on a date with her and she is able to meet the clients' needs and know their preferences which makes her the ideal girlfriend to them. However, there is something strange about Remi as she wraps a bandage around her neck all the time. Once the contracted period ends, Remi will treat the client like a stranger and not even smile at him.

Taiga will be playing an university student Yamada Kousuke who bumps into Takami Kenbutsu (Nukumizu Yoichi), the president cum manager of lovers for rental company "Rental Lovers" just before Christmas. As there is a festive season promotion, Kousuke ends up hiring Remi and is so besotted with her after she becomes the perfect girlfriend of his dreams during the rental period. However, when Kousuke raises the idea of hiring Remi permanently, she flatly rejects him while he is left pining for her.

Kousuke's childhood friend Michibata Sumire who is holding a torch for him, will be played by Kishii Yukino. Kentaro will be playing Tachibana Hayato who is also a childhood friend of Kousuke and is a rich man's son who goes to the same school as the latter. Amato Yuu, the No.2 in Rental Lovers who is Remi's rival, will be played by Hara Mikie while Hayato's girlfriend Hosoi Miki will be played by Nobue Yu. Co-stars also include Kaneda Ayana and Kiyohara Sho.

Taiga who happens to be Gouriki's ex-classmate back in senior high school, commented that it feels unbelievable that he will be doing a romance drama with her and is looking forward to the filming. As for his character's love likely going to be unrequited, he will try to show the positive side of taking the first step and not giving up easily as described in the story. As for Nukumizu who is also working with Gouriki for the first time, he is very excited by this especially since he will be surrounded by many younger co-stars this time and hopes that they can work together to create an enjoyable drama.
