Tiffany will be working with TBS on their Summer 2016 drama "Seiseisuru hodo Aishiteru" starring Takei Emi and Takizawa Hideaki which begins its run from 12 July in the Tuesdays 10pm timeslot. This is the first time that the premium jewellery brand is involved in a collaboration with a Japanese drama.
In the drama, Takei will play an employee working in Tiffany Japan's PR department while Takizawa will play the vice president of the same company. As such, filming will be done in Tiffany's shops and during an actual Tiffany event where the cast and crew were surrounded by JPY 4.6bn worth of jewellery. The cast will also get to wear the brand's products during the filming.
In response to this, Takei commented that she was thrilled at being able to do filming inside Tiffany and wear their jewellery as she has been a fan of the brand all along. The producer Iyoda Yoshinori also revealed that he was excited about the filming and hoped to be able to show the sparkling and glamourous sides of the leads through the support of Tiffany.
