The sales of NTV charity programme "24 Jikan Terebi 36" T-shirts have passed the 1 million mark as reported on 15 August. The T-shirts designed by artist Kusama Yayoi and Arashi's Ohno Satoshi, went on sale at 1,500 yen per piece on 14 June and passed the 1 million mark on 8 August and accumulated sales as of 11 August were 1.05 million pieces. This achievement also broke last year's record high of 764,198 units. Kusama commented that she was glad that the T-shirts they designed were well-received while Ohno expressed his happiness at being able to work with Kusama and that many people are wearing the T-shirts.
Although there were some weekly magazines which talked about whether Arashi was being paid to be the main personality of the charity programme, NTV confirmed that Arashi's participation was on a volunteer basis and even Ohno would not be getting anything for designing the T-shirts.
