The first-day-screening of movie "Nazotoki wa Dinner no ato de" was held on 3 August which was attended by cast members Sakurai Sho, Kitagawa Keiko, Shiina Kippei, Namase Katsuhisa and Sakuraba Nanami. The footage of the greeting event was also broadcast simultaneously to 30,800 people at 75 cinemas. Sakurai commented that the filming of the Nazotoki drama serial took place way back on 9 September 2011 at a small apartment in Yokohama so it was very touching that they could expand it to something of such a big scale through this movie. On the other hand, Kitagawa revealed that she had initially thought that a rich man's daughter like her role Reiko should be very ladylike but the fact that Reiko is actually more tomboyish could have helped to make the character more popular with the fans.
