Takki & Tsubasa's Imai Tsubasa was admitted to hospital recently as revealed by his partner Takizawa Hideaki when the latter stood in for Imai during his Bunka Housou radio show "Imai Tsubasa no to base) on 6 Nov. According to Takizawa, Imai had been experiencing serious giddy spells since the previous week and was having difficulties standing up so he had to be admitted to hospital for checks. Takizawa apologised for causing the fans to worry and asked for everyone to wish for Imai's speedy recovery.
Usually, the radio show would be pre-recorded before its broadcast on Thursdays. Imai was absent from the radio show in the previous week's OA (30 October), most likely due to his illness. Takizawa was then roped in at the last minute to take over Imai's place so as to explain the situation to listeners.
Takki & Tsubasa have a new album "Two Tops Treasure" due to be released on 3 Dec and are scheduled to hold concerts in Osaka and Yokohama in the same month. Imai is also slated to appear in the stage play "PLAYZONE" next January.
