from the synopsis I thought the wife is kidnapped and still alive but, looks like the wife has been murdered too? Curious what she had been hiding and what her true face is.

When I first heard of this drama, I thought it sounded like a mixture of the Hollywood movie "Gone Girl" and the 2004 drama "Kanojo ga shinjatta" which coincidentally Kimura Yoshino was also the person who the characters were trying to find out more and understand. In that drama though, Kimura's character had committed suicide. The disappearance part and the wife being not who she seemed to be looks like a rip-off from "Gone Girl". In any case, it will be worth seeing how they handle the story and I hope that it won't over-promise. Sometimes, they tend to exaggerate and promise that it's some shocking truth but in the end, the story turns out to be too mild or bland and I get really disappointed when it happens like this.

Initially, they were talking about the wife being dead but from the trailer, it looks like the wife was supposedly kidnapped and should be still alive as the husband gets embroiled in the saga over her kidnapping and gets to know how she is really like. As long as she's still alive, I think the final showdown between her and the husband will be quite interesting and worth waiting for. If she's dead, I think the ending might not be as impactful as it should be.

Ah! it's famous but I just knew about "Gone Girl" from Becky scandal since people appointed the similarity of the outfit and the atmosphere during Becky's apology press conference with the one in the movie. I love suspense/thriller/mystery story and same like you I also will get really disappointed if it turns out to be too mild, over-promise or no shocking truth whatsoever. Tell me, are both good? the movie and the drama you mentioned. If the mysteries are interesting, I want to watch them.

I didn't know about the reference between Becky's press conference and "Gone Girl" but the movie was quite good.

As for the drama, I watched it so many years ago and can hardly remember how I felt then but I vaguely recall that the ending was a bit dampening. Perhaps it's better to say that the process to find the truth was probably more satisfying and engaging as compared to the ending.
