ANA announced the introduction of a special edition "Yae no Sakura" aeroplane in its fleet at Haneda Airport on 14 January which was unveiled by the drama's lead Ayase Haruka. The Boeing 767 aeroplane will be in service until December this year on domestic flights within Japan. According to ANA, they decided to support the drama set in tsunami-hit Fukushima Prefecture through this method. Unfortunately, due to the heavy snowfall today, the aeroplane could not embark on its maiden journey to Osaka Airport at 1pm to which Ayase expressed disappointment.
