First-day-screening event of new movie "Nounai Poison Berry"

The first-day-screening event of new movie "Nounai Poison Berry" was held at TOHO Cinemas Nichigeki 2 on 9 May which was attended by the cast members Maki Yoko, Nishijima Hidetoshi, Furukawa Yuki, Songha, Yoshida Yo, Sakurada Hiyori, Kamiki Ryunosuke, Asano Kazuyuki and the director Sato Yuichi. The movie which is based on the comic by Mizushiro Setona, features Maki as a woman in her 20s having meetings with five emotions namely rational, positive, negative, impulsive and memory within her brain in order to decide on how to make her relationship with a younger boyfriend succeed. During the event, the cast were asked if they had any sad happenings in the past and Maki revealed that she had wanted to get the second button from her senior who was 2 years older in junior high but he was so popular that his buttons were gone before she even got to him. (In Japan, girls ask guys for the second button on their uniforms on the day of the graduation ceremony. If the guy agrees to give it to her, that means that the girl is the one he likes.)

Nishijima revealed during the event that he was a bit affected when Kamiki kept peeking at him when he was in the midst of filming. Even though the two of them do have a pretty wide age gap, they actually have worked about the same number of years in showbiz (Kamiki started as a child actor). In response, Kamiki said that he wanted to observe Nishijima's cool performance so that's why he was always peeking at the sidelines.
