The first-day screening of movie "Himawari to Koinu no Nanokakan" was held on 16 March 2013 at Shinjuku Picadilly which was attended by cast members Sakai Masato, Nakatani Miki, Wakabayashi Masayasu, Yoshiyuki Kazuko, Fujimoto Kanata and Kondo Risa. The movie features Sakai as an employee of a public health centre's animal management centre in Miyazaki Prefecture who tries to save the lives of dogs brought to the centre. Sakai commented that it has always been his dream to act in a drama/movie set in his hometown so he views this movie as a family treasure. On the other hand, Nakatani revealed that Sakai was a very strict teacher with a smiling face when it came to perfecting the Miyazaki dialect.
