to be honest yamapi i have seen him in buzzer beat but i dont see his acting is very good in there. Yes he can sing and dance and has good look but his acting in buzzer beat is rather too cool until no much expression.
i watched buzzer beat cos of junpei at leaSt he s cute and funny to look at. At least not so boring .

So he is doing this kind of dramas i m quite curious how he ll act.

But i m more interested in sato takeru drama well i dont really like sato but i like cooking drama.
hope some1 will eng sub both dramas as both have interesting storyline

I fail to understand why he was given a leading role so soon after his troubles last year. It feels as if he didn't take what happened seriously and this is glaringly different from what his seniors had done when they had issues in the past especially those involving the police. Say for example, Kusanagi's famous nude incident in Roppongi was comparatively mild compared to the other Johnny's scandals but he stayed away from the public eye for a while and self-imposed a drinking ban for a pretty long time. In Yamashita's case, there seemingly wasn't any form of punishment meted to him since the case was settled privately and it felt like he got back into the limelight too easily without having to suffer in any way for his actions.

In the media, there is a lot of speculation as to why he was given this role at this time and it's been said that this will be a litmus test for him. If he gets bashed for his performance and the ratings are horrible to look at, it will spell trouble for his career. Not to mention the fact that there was indeed a very good adaptation of the same novel featuring Yusuke Santa Maria which got good reviews some years back, Yamashita faces the prospect of an unwelcome and obviously harsh comparison with his predecessor. Looks like he has an uphill task ahead.

Honestly speaking, I've tended to avoid his dramas especially those which feature him as the lead. Years ago, I remember being rather neutral towards him i.e. neither impressed nor disappointed with him when I saw him in Ikebukuro West Gate Park (2000), Long Love Letter (2002) or Nobuta wo Produce (2005). In fact, I thought he was OK in LLL and Nobuta. However, I started to become really turned off by his way of acting in dramas such as Kurosagi and Code Blue. Maybe it's the way he speaks his lines, maybe it's the way he tries to act cool no matter what kind of character he plays. I can't pick out a single reason for avoiding his dramas but somehow, I just didn't want to watch him anymore. As such, I don't think I'm in a position to comment on his performance in the dramas over the past few years since I did not finish any of his dramas in the last 5 to 7 years.

Hmmm sometime i dont understand why ppl see celebrities private life so importantly.
it s their private life and they want to do what it s up to them at least they never hurt others.
drinking or taking drugs or be in a relationship has nothing to do with us.

If i like an actor acting i will just want to see him more in dramas or movies. I am not so care abt what he do in private life..
everyone has freedom to do what they like.
n if we like their acting then we only look at his acting more and dont care abt what news say.

But i dnt like yamapi acting.

hmmm to be honest j actors i think all old actors re good in acting.
but only one young actor i like n tt s junpei as he s interesting n has expression when acting cool roles.
ppl like yamapi n sato fukushi i really think they dont have much expression so it is very boring to look at them
n cos junpei has more active expresssion he make his roles more lively.
even korean actors are not so flexible acting than junpei.

he can be cool n funny at the same time n now he is taking female role in latest ninagawa stage play.
but this female role need to distinguise as A boy...
it s a hard role as it s like he act as girl but alSo must think he s a girl who distinguise as a boy.
and it s a dark comedy...

So i am impressed with his courage to take this complicated role
