Sato Takeru and Kamiki Ryunosuke will be co-leads in the real-life adaptation movie of popular manga "Bakuman" which is due to be shown next year. The manga which consists of 20 volumes and has accumulated sales of 15 million copies to date, is by Oba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi who are widely known for their hit work "Death Note". The story features two senior high school students Saikou (Sato) and Shuujin (Kamiki) who aspire to be manga artists and work together as a team where Saikou is in charge of the drawings and Shuujin comes up with the story. Both Sato and Kamiki will be doing the drawings featured in the movie themselves thus this will also mark their debut as manga artists.
