The couple got married in March 2012 where Yamada had declared during their marriage press conference that she hopes to have at least three kids. She is also expected to announce her pregnancy officially on the TBS programme "Pittanko Kan Kan" showing on 30 May at 7.56pm and will start her maternity leave soon after her fashion book "FASHION ADDICT" is released on her 30th birthday i.e. 5 July.
Yamada had been reported to be pregnant back in April by a female magazine but did not confirm the rumours then when asked by the media. It was said that she wanted to wait for her condition to stabilise before announcing her pregnancy.
