Tsutsumi Shinichi and Aoi Yu are reported to be "dating" according to the latest issue of "Josei Seven" published on 25 October. The article mentioned that the two were seen having a meal together without anyone else around during Aoi's birthday in August and had also been witnessed going on meal dates together frequently this month. When asked about this, Tsutsumi's agency stated that he has been a longtime friend of Aoi and would usually meet her and her current boyfriend Suzuki Kosuke for meals. As for why they were seen alone, the agency speculated that it could be due to the fact the Suzuki had not arrived at the restaurant at the time when reporters spotted them. On the other hand, Aoi's agency also confirmed that she is still dating Suzuki and denied that Aoi is an item with Tsutsumi.
