Iura Arata will be holding his first photography exhibition from 22 December 2012 to 3 March 2012 at The Hakone Open-Air Museum which makes him the third celebrity after Kataoka Tsurutaro and Fujii Fumiya to hold an exhibition there. Iura has been working as a designer of clothes for REVOLVER, a brand he set up with friends in 1998 and ELNEST CREATIVE ACTIVITY, a Japanese traditional art works production group he set up in 2007 while being an actor. He was asked to produce the museum's 2013 calendar after his photos of sights in Japan were seen in magazines and then decided to hold his exhibition about people and sights in Hakone at the museum. Iura spent about a year taking photos of Hakone in the four seasons and selected 60 for the exhibition.
