Yamada Takayuki announced through his official website on 19 October that his wife is currently pregnant with their first child and she will be giving birth next spring. He got married on New Year's Day this year to his wife who he had been dating for 2 years and is 7 years older than him. Yamada mentioned in his statement that having a child would spur him on to do even better in his acting career. He is expected to make a public appearance on 3 November for his movie "Nobou no Shiro".
