3-member unit girl next door will disband as of their last concert on 8 December at SHIBUYA-AX, as announced on their website on 3 September 2013 which is their 5th anniversary since their debut. The vocalist Chisa who is currently engaged to Olympic swimming medalist Kitajima Kosuke, also announced that she is going to quit showbiz after getting married later this year as she wishes to support her husband's swimming career. Chisa had announced her engagement on New Year's Day this year and had been pondering over whether to continue her musical activities after marriage but she felt that she wouldn't be able to juggle her work and responsibilities as a wife so she discussed this with her fellow members and decided that the unit will have to disband. However, the other members will continue to stay in showbiz as musicians.
