Iriyama Noriko and Shison Jun will be starring in the remake of "Kimi wa Petto" produced by FujiTV and due to be shown in a midnight slot. The new drama series which will consist of 16 episodes, is based on the manga by Ogawa Yayoi which has sold 4.2 million copies to date. Iriyama will play the role of Sumire, a highly educated and beautiful woman who starts to live with a young man named Momo through an unusual encounter.
The original drama series made in 2003 featured Koyuki in the role of Sumire and Arashi's Matsumoto Jun as Momo. Subsequently, there was a 2011 remake in South Korea featuring Jang Geun Seok and Kim Haneul.
