Motokariya Yuika will star in NHK BS Premium's autumn drama "Soko wo Nantoka" beginning in October on Sundays at 10pm. This marks her first leading role in a drama since her debut in a NHK morning drama 7 years ago. The drama is based on a comic by Asou Mikoto which is currently published in shoujo manga magazine MELODY. Motokariya plays the lead character who was a nightclub hostess and later becomes a lawyer with the aim of making money but changes her thinking gradually after taking on a number of non-profitable cases and suffering setbacks as a result.
