The first-day screening of movie "Hotaru no Hikaru" was held on 9 June at Kawasaki City's Cine Chitta Kawasaki where lead actors Ayase Haruka and Fujiki Naohito walked down the red carpet in a wedding gown and suit. The movie which continues where the drama series ended, is scheduled to be shown in 8 Asian countries including South Korea and Taiwan. Straight after the event, Ayase flew to Taiwan for the premiere of the movie there on 10 June.
