The following survey was done by Oricon Monitor Research on 1,000 respondents from their teens to 50s between 10 November and 18 November where they chose which actor they felt had made a breakthrough in 2022. Meguro Ren was the top pick for those in their teens to 30s while those in their 40s chose Matsushita Kouhei and those in their 50s chose Nakagawa Taishi.
