The 30th JASRAC Award Ceremony was held at Keyaki Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo where JASRAC gave out awards to the creators and record companies of the top 3 songs which earned the most copyright fees between 1982 and 2011. The No.1 song went to SMAP's "Sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana" released in 2003 thus its composer Makihara Noriyuki and Johnny's Publishing's CEO Kitagawa Johnny received awards for the song. However, as Kitagawa was unable to attend the ceremony, SMAP member Inagaki Goro accepted the award on his behalf and read out a speech from Kitagawa.
