Sawajiri Erika will make her return to a TV drama in five years since her last appearance in "Ichi Litre no Namida SP ~ Tsuioku" shown on 5 April 2007. This time, she will star in the TBS drama SP "Akujo ni tsuite" (About an evil woman) which is due to start filming next week.The story is based on the novel by late novelist Ariyoshi Sawako which was published in 1978. The heroine is Tomikoji Kimiko who's called the queen of pretenses and the story reveals her life through the testimonies of 27 people. 34 years ago, the drama version starring Kage Marie and Ogata Ken was shown at the same time as the novel was being serialised in a magazine. For this drama SP, it hasn't been announced who will be Sawajiri's co-stars.
